  Directions

  • 800002230 - 16oz Keep away from battery terminals and electrical connections. Spray with can in upright position. Insert plastic tube firmly into valve button. With engine off and cool:
    Carburetor: Remove the air cleaner and clean the outside of the carburetor and all of the linkage. Avoid spraying electrical connections. Manifold heat control: Spray on exposed ends of cool heat riser shaft. Allow to penetrate and clean. Move counterweight up and down until free. With engine running:
    Carburetor: Spray to both ends of the choke valve shaft while working choke by hand. Spray down and around the carburetor throat to remove deposits from the throttle plate area. Do not spray down carburetor throat with engine off. Do not spray below throttle plate. Choke: If choke sticks, remove choke cover and spray. PCV Valve: Disconnect the crankcase side of the valve and spray into the open end of the valve while working the plunger back and forth. Not recommended for fuel-injected vehicles. Will not harm catalytic converters or oxygen sensors. Contains no methanol or methylene chloride. If sprayed on painted surface, wipe off at once.

  So I'm rebuilding my Honda CB750 carbs. I get them all apart and Cleaned. now I will say this did clean the gunk inside, they had been sitting for some time. i left the project on the shelf for some time and it got dusty. Today I pull them off the Shelf and figured i'll pray them out and then start to re-Assemble. There was a little in the bottom of the needle seats and some in some of the groves where the o-rings go but i Didn't think anything of it. I get it all together and forget to Adjust the floats so i pulled one of them back off and i see the o-ring for the bowl as Swollen and Doesn't fit anymore and the rubber on the needle is Swollen and wont move. no where on the can does this stuff say it will ruin rubber o-rings. now i have to re-order 4 more kits to put my carbs back together. over 100.00 out of my pocket. Do Not use this near Anything rubber.
